to coordinate and evaluate AAAE responses to the Federal Aviation Administration and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency concerning airport environmental issues. To work with AAAE staff in developing specialty seminars and membership services involving airport environmental matters.

The mission statement also includes assisting AAAE and the AAAE board of directors in establishing direction, viewpoints and policies for the association in dealing with pressing environmental matters.

The committee will also play a large role in assisting in the formulation of association services and educational forums.
